Certified Endoprosthetics Center Landstuhl

For several decades, an interdisciplinary team led by Chief Surgeon Dr. Werner Hauck has been successfully delivering endoprosthetic care for damaged hip, knee, and shoulder joints.  Here, the experts from the departments of Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery, Internal Medicine, Vascular Surgery, Radiology, Anesthesiology, and Physiotherapy, as well as our nursing staff and our Technical Orthopedics section are cooperating closely in accordance with the highest standards of quality.

The Endoprosthetics Center (EPC) provides comprehensive care for patients from initial treatment via diagnosis and therapy to aftercare and rehabilitation. In the EPC, the entire surgical range of joint replacements for hips and knees is performed, both primary and revision surgery. We offer our patients state-of-the-art diagnostic procedures and treatment methods, including gentle, minimally invasive surgical methods.

The Center stands for individual, sophisticated endoprosthetics (arthroplasty) with precise surgical procedures and modern implant concepts. In order to ensure the best possible quality for our patients, the Endoprosthetics Center collaborates only with renowned manufacturers of surgical implants.

Certification according to EndoCert®

The Department of Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery was successfully certified as a Maximum Care Endoprosthetics Center according to "EndoCert®" at the end of 2013.

Consultation Hours & Appointments

If a joint replacement/an endoprosthesis is indicated in your case, we offer the possibility for you to discuss all the details regarding your symptoms and any surgery that may be required with one of our specialists during our consultation appointments.

Your individual medical conditions, including any pre-existing conditions, any medications that you are taking, and any existent allergies, are taken into account. X-rays are taken and used for the exact, digital, computer-aided planning of your prosthesis. This allows us to optimally plan the surgery, which is crucial to achieve speedy success of the treatment and to help you recover quickly.
Our Patient Management coordinates the dates for the surgery, for the inpatient stay, and, if necessary, for subsequent rehabilitation.

Please schedule your personal consultation appointment by calling our secretary at 06371 84-2713 or the secretary of Chief Surgeon Dr. Hauck at 06371 84-2701.
